The Kingdom of Meridiana is a landlocked country located within the Canadian province of British Columbia. It was founded by Carl Ó Gairbhith in 2020 as a personal possession to be ruled by the House of Ó Gairbhith. Meridiana is governed as a constitutional monarchy loosely based upon that of France during the Bourbon Restoration. Meridiana currently has eight citizens. The Kingdom dedicates significant efforts towards environmental concerns such as climate change and deforestation, as well as advocating for monarchism as an effective form of governance in the 21st century.

Mutual Recognition Treaty
On 2025-06-14, the Republic of Checkland and the Kingdom of Meridiana formally entered into a Mutual Recognition Treaty. This agreement affirms the sovereignty, independence, and legitimacy of both nations. The treaty lays the foundation for diplomatic relations, peaceful cooperation, and mutual support in intermicronational affairs.
