To be eligible to establish an official embassy in Checkland, a foreign nation must meet the following requirements:
Established Diplomatic Relations
The nation must have an existing diplomatic relationship with the Republic of Checkland, typically formalized through a signed mutual recognition or bilateral treaty.
Positive Diplomatic Standing
The nation must maintain a consistent and respectful relationship with Checkland, marked by goodwill, communication, and a commitment to peaceful cooperation.
Functional Government Structure
The applying nation must have a stable and identifiable leadership structure, with official representation capable of upholding diplomatic responsibilities.
Non-Aggression and Peaceful Intent
The nation must not engage in hostile behavior toward Checkland or its allies, and must promote peaceful conflict resolution in accordance with international micronational norms.
Approval by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
All embassy applications are subject to review and approval by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Checkland. Final confirmation will be communicated through an official diplomatic channel.
