Checkland has officially passed the Government Integrity and Transparency Act following approval by both the Grand Assembly and a national citizen vote. The law criminalizes bribery, protects whistleblowers, requires spending transparency, and mandates public access to records. It also limits the use of public funds for political promotion and ensures provinces are consulted on major decisions. Widely supported, the Act marks a major step toward stronger ethics and accountability in Checkland’s government.

Checkland’s judicial system is built on three core principles: order, fairness, and individual liberty.
• Local Courts handle most civil and criminal matters.
• Appeals Courts can review decisions from lower courts when requested.
• The Supreme Court is the highest legal authority for non-executive judicial matters.
• The Prime Minister may serve as final arbiter in constitutional or exceptional cases. Citizens are entitled to due process, fair trials, and legal defense under the Constitution. All trials are conducted digitally or via written submission unless otherwise directed.
