Borondonia es una Micronación cuya forma de gobierno es la Monarquía Absoluta. Establecida físicamente en la Isla de Tenerife incluye territorios sumergidos en tres océanos y cuenta con el cuerpo legal imprescindible y necesario para su funcionamiento. Borondonia se reconoce asimismo como Colectivo Cultural, Reino Literario y un Divertimento de Internet, medio por el cual se manifiesta y relaciona con el resto de países y organizaciones. El Jefe de Estado, ciudadano más longevo del Reino y Padre Fundador de la Nación es SSM el Rey Acahualinca I.

• Bilateral Communication: Maintain direct and open channels of diplomatic dialogue between Bordonia and Checkland, ensuring timely cooperation and clarity on matters of mutual interest.
• Cultural Exchange: Promote the rich culture, traditions, and values of Bordonia through joint events, virtual outreach, and intermicronational cultural initiatives.
• Treaty Affairs & Legal Cooperation: Monitor and support the implementation of bilateral agreements, including the Mutual Recognition Treaty, and facilitate peaceful resolution of any disputes or diplomatic matters.
• Micronational Advocacy: Collaborate with Checkland to support sovereignty, legitimacy, and peaceful cooperation within the wider micronational community.
• Citizenship and Representation Support: Provide guidance and assistance to Bordonian citizens and representatives in Checkland when applicable.

On 2024-10-16, Checkland and Bordonia formalized their diplomatic relationship through the signing of a Mutual Recognition Treaty. This foundational agreement affirms the sovereignty of both nations and sets the framework for continued diplomatic, cultural, and legal cooperation. The treaty reflects our nations’ shared commitment to mutual respect, peace, and active participation in the intermicronational world.
